The 8th Edition of the George Town Festival will take place from 28 July – 03 Sept 2017 in Penang, Malaysia.
GTF2017 opens with its own production of an all-ASEAN showcase, SVARA ASEAN as tribute to Southeast Asian artists – a celebration of the artistic pride in the region, home our tradition and culture. The line-up includes the Madrigal Singers from the Philippines, Gus Teja from Indonesia and the Penang Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert will also feature Malaysians Sean Ghazi and Adibah Noor and Anchee from Thailand..
